Lingkungan Sekolah dan Dukungan Orang Tua dalam Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konstruksi nilai-nilai disiplin dalam lingkungan sekolah dan mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk dukungan orang tua yang memperkuat nilai-nilai tersebut, serta untuk meneliti sinergi antara kedua lingkungan tersebut dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka kualitatif dengan analisis isi, penelitian ini mensintesis literatur akademis yang diterbitkan hingga tahun 2025. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sekolah membangun nilai-nilai disiplin melalui aturan formal, peran guru sebagai teladan, sistem penghargaan dan konsekuensi, pengaturan lingkungan fisik, ritual sekolah, kurikulum tersembunyi, dan budaya institusional. Dukungan orang tua terwujud melalui pola pengasuhan otoritatif, rutinitas yang konsisten, teladan sehari-hari, komunikasi terbuka tentang pengalaman sekolah, keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan sekolah, pengawasan media dan interaksi teman sebaya, serta menciptakan lingkungan rumah yang kondusif. Sinergi optimal terjadi ketika konsistensi nilai dipertahankan antara sekolah dan rumah, komunikasi orang tua-guru berlangsung secara teratur, dan kemitraan aktif dikembangkan dalam merumuskan pendekatan pendidikan karakter. Koherensi ini mencegah kebingungan normatif siswa dan mempercepat internalisasi disiplin sebagai bagian integral dari identitas mereka. Studi ini menyiratkan perlunya sekolah merancang program pembentukan karakter yang sistematis dan perlunya orang tua menyadari peran penting mereka sebagai pendidik utama dalam kemitraan dengan sekolah.
