Perilaku Kewargaan Organisasi Guru dan Keterkaitannya dengan Efektivitas Sekolah

Artikel ini menguraikan pembahasan konseptual mengenai perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi guru, yang dipahami sebagai tindakan sukarela yang melampaui deskripsi pekerjaan formal demi mendukung kelancaran operasional sekolah. Perilaku-perilaku tersebut meliputi membantu rekan kerja, memberikan bantuan tambahan kepada siswa, terlibat dalam kegiatan di luar tanggung jawab formal, mempromosikan sekolah kepada masyarakat, serta menunjukkan toleransi konstruktif terhadap ketidaksempurnaan prosedural sambil mencari solusi. Tulisan ini menguraikan bentuk-bentuk utama perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi guru dan mengkaji faktor-faktor individu, antarpersonal, serta organisasional yang dapat mendorong atau melemahkan kemunculannya. Selain itu, pembahasan ini mengeksplorasi kontribusi perilaku sukarela tersebut terhadap efektivitas organisasi, khususnya dalam hal kelangsungan operasional, kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap perubahan, pembelajaran organisasi, dan reputasi sekolah. Perhatian diberikan pada risiko potensial ketika sekolah sangat bergantung pada upaya ekstra guru tanpa memberikan pengakuan atau dukungan yang memadai. Kerangka kerja yang diusulkan di sini dimaksudkan sebagai acuan normatif bagi pemimpin sekolah dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang budaya, praktik kepemimpinan, dan kebijakan sumber daya manusia yang mendorong perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi yang sehat dan berkelanjutan di kalangan guru.
