Abstract

Struktur keilmuan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memerlukan pembaharuan agar tetap relevan dengan tuntutan zaman modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi epistemologi Ibnu Khaldun dalam struktur keilmuan PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, dimana seluruh data diambil melalui buku, jurnal dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian, tekni analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan Ibnu Khaldun memperkaya struktur PAI dengan mengintegrasikan ilmu-ilmu agama dan ilmu-ilmu duniawi, memperbaharui kurikulum, mengkontekstualisasikan metode pembelajaran, dan mempertimbangkan dinamika sosial. Implementasi ini mendorong keseimbangan antara pendidikan normatif dan aplikatif, meningkatkan pengembangan karakter dan pemahaman holistik di kalangan siswa. Studi ini diakhiri dengan visi untuk sistem pendidikan Islam yang dinamis dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global
