Abstract

Hadis tentang anjuran mengonsumsi tujuh butir kurma Ajwa pada pagi hari sering dipahami secara populer sebagai sarana untuk menghilangkan racun dan menangkal sihir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hadis tersebut secara akademik dengan menempatkannya dalam kerangka ilmu hadis dan dialog kritis dengan temuan sains kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitik terhadap sumber hadis primer, khususnya riwayat al-Bukhārī dan Muslim, serta literatur ilmiah modern mengenai kandungan bioaktif kurma Ajwa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa hadis tujuh kurma Ajwa berstatus sahih (muttafaq 'alaih) dan mengandung lafaz lam yaḍurruhu yang bermakna "tidak membahayakan", bukan pernyataan eksplisit tentang proses penetralan racun secara fisik. Sementara itu, temuan ilmiah modern mengindikasikan bahwa kurma Ajwa memiliki potensi protektif terhadap stres oksidatif dan inflamasi pada kondisi tertentu. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa relasi hadis dan sains bersifat dialogis dan komplementer dengan tetap menjaga batas epistemologis masing-masing disiplin
