Latihan Plyometric Model Circuit Training Terhadap Peningkatan Power Otot Tungkai Atlet Basket Di UPTD SMPN 1 Kamal Bangkalan

Power otot tungkai merupakan komponen kondisi fisik yang sangat penting dalam olahraga bola basket karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan melompat, melakukan rebound, dan melakukan shooting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan plyometric dengan model circuit training terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai atlet bola basket. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain pretest–posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah atlet bola basket putri ekstrakurikuler di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Kamal dengan jumlah 20 atlet yang seluruhnya dijadikan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes vertical jump untuk mengukur power otot tungkai. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik paired sample t-test dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan latihan plyometric model circuit training terhadap peningkatan vertical jump atlet bola basket. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan plyometric model circuit training efektif dalam meningkatkan power otot tungkai atlet bola basket.
