Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to DZURRIYAT: Journal of Early Childhood Islamic Education undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. This means that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review.

  1. Initial Screening – The editorial team first evaluates each submission for relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to author guidelines, plagiarism check, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements will be returned to the authors before being sent for review.

  2. Reviewer Assignment – Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

  3. Review Criteria – Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, theoretical contribution, and relevance to the field of Islamic early childhood education.

  4. Decision Recommendation – Reviewers may recommend one of the following:

    • Accept without revision

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Accept with major revisions

    • Reject

  5. Revision Process – Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ feedback. Revised manuscripts will be re-evaluated to ensure that all required improvements have been made.

  6. Final Decision – The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial considerations.

The review process is expected to be conducted objectively, constructively, and in a timely manner to maintain the quality and integrity of the journal.


Proses Peer Review

Semua naskah yang dikirimkan ke DZURRIYAT: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini akan melalui proses peer review secara ketat dengan sistem double-blind review, yaitu penulis dan reviewer tidak saling mengetahui identitas masing-masing.

  1. Penyaringan Awal – Tim editor terlebih dahulu menilai setiap naskah berdasarkan relevansi dengan fokus jurnal, kepatuhan terhadap pedoman penulisan, hasil pemeriksaan plagiarisme, serta kualitas akademik umum. Naskah yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan dasar akan dikembalikan kepada penulis sebelum diteruskan ke reviewer.

  2. Penugasan Reviewer – Naskah yang layak akan ditugaskan kepada minimal dua orang reviewer independen yang merupakan pakar di bidang terkait.

  3. Kriteria Penilaian – Reviewer menilai naskah berdasarkan orisinalitas, ketepatan metodologi, kejelasan penyajian, kontribusi teoretis, serta relevansi dengan bidang pendidikan Islam anak usia dini.

  4. Rekomendasi Keputusan – Reviewer dapat merekomendasikan salah satu dari keputusan berikut:

    • Diterima tanpa revisi

    • Diterima dengan revisi minor

    • Diterima dengan revisi mayor

    • Ditolak

  5. Proses Revisi – Penulis diberikan kesempatan untuk merevisi naskah sesuai dengan masukan reviewer. Naskah hasil revisi akan dievaluasi kembali untuk memastikan semua perbaikan telah dilakukan.

  6. Keputusan Akhir – Keputusan akhir penerimaan atau penolakan naskah berada pada Editor-in-Chief berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer dan pertimbangan dewan editor.

Proses review ini dilaksanakan secara objektif, konstruktif, dan tepat waktu guna menjaga kualitas serta integritas publikasi jurnal.
