Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah lanskap kepemimpinan pendidikan secara fundamental, menuntut model kepemimpinan baru yang mampu beroperasi dalam ruang virtual dan konteks global. Artikel ini menganalisis dinamika cyber-leadership dalam manajemen pendidikan global melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan kerangka analisis lima dimensi, yakni ontologis, epistemologis, aksiologis, metodologis-strategis, dan teleologis-transformatif. Melalui proses empat fase transformasi, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan transformasi digital kepemimpinan, pengembangan kompetensi cyber-leadership, implementasi kepemimpinan virtual dalam manajemen pendidikan, dan resiliensi serta keberlanjutan cyber-leadership, penelitian ini memetakan trajektori evolusi kepemimpinan pendidikan di era digital. Studi kasus terhadap Universitas Terbuka Indonesia, Universitas Negeri Malang, dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA mengungkap model implementasi cyber-leadership yang beragam namun saling melengkapi. Analisis kritis mengidentifikasi empat risiko utama, meliputi digital divide dan ketimpakan akses, erosi otoritas dan koneksi manusia, keamanan siber dan privasi data, serta teknokrasi dan dehumanisasi kepemimpinan, yang mengancam efektivitas cyber-leadership dalam pendidikan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa cyber-leadership memerlukan keseimbangan dialektis antara pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai medium transformasi dan pemertahanan dimensi kemanusiaan sebagai esensi kepemimpinan pendidikan, di mana virtualisasi bukan berarti penghapusan relasi personal melainkan rekonfigurasi yang memperluas jangkauan dan kedalaman interaksi kepemimpinan
