Desain Integrasi Ilmu dan Keislaman dalam Peradaban Kontemporer

Abstract

Fragmentasi keilmuan yang memisahkan ilmu dan keislaman telah mengakar dalam tradisi pendidikan Islam kontemporer, menghasilkan dikotomi yang menghambat kontribusi peradaban Islam terhadap perkembangan pengetahuan global. Artikel ini menganalisis desain holistic knowledge system sebagai kerangka integrasi ilmu dan keislaman dalam peradaban kontemporer melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan kerangka analisis lima dimensi, yakni ontologis, epistemologis, aksiologis, metodologis-strategis, dan teleologis-transformatif. Melalui proses empat fase transformasi, yaitu identifikasi fragmentasi keilmuan Islam kontemporer, desain sistem pengetahuan holistik integratif, implementasi kurikulum dan institusi integratif-holistik, serta resiliensi dan keberlanjutan sistem pengetahuan holistik Islam, penelitian ini memetakan trajektori integrasi dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam. Studi kasus terhadap UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, dan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta mengungkap model integrasi yang beragam namun saling melengkapi. Analisis kritis mengidentifikasi empat risiko utama, meliputi sinkretisme epistemologis, reduksionisme integratif, resistensi institusional, dan subordinasi ilmu keislaman terhadap sains sekular, yang mengancam keberlangsungan integrasi tersebut. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa desain holistic knowledge system memerlukan keseimbangan dialektis antara ilmu keislaman sebagai sumber kebenaran transendental dan ilmu pengetahuan modern sebagai instrumen pemahaman empiris, di mana integrasi bukan berarti peleburan melainkan dialog kreatif yang mempertahankan otonomi dan integritas masing-masing tradisi keilmuan
