Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi konsep Green School dalam pendidikan Islam di madrasah sebagai upaya mewujudkan pendidikan berkelanjutan (sustainable education). Degradasi lingkungan yang semakin kritis menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk mengambil peran aktif dalam menanamkan kesadaran ekologis kepada generasi muda, termasuk di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) yang mengkaji literatur ilmiah tentang Green School, pendidikan lingkungan, ecotheology Islam, dan program Adiwiyata di madrasah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik model Braun dan Clarke yang terdiri dari enam tahapan sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Green School di madrasah melibatkan empat dimensi utama: (1) integrasi nilai-nilai ekologis Islam dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran, yang mencakup penguatan ecotheology dan fiqh lingkungan; (2) pengembangan infrastruktur hijau dan penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan sebagai media edukasi langsung; (3) pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui kegiatan kultural dan spiritual berbasis Islam; serta (4) kepemimpinan spiritual yang visioner dalam mengarahkan transformasi ekologis madrasah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara prinsip Islam dan konsep Green School menghasilkan model pendidikan lingkungan yang lebih komprehensif dan bermakna, di mana pelestarian lingkungan tidak hanya dilihat sebagai kebutuhan sekuler, melainkan sebagai ibadah dan tanggung jawab moral-spiritual
