Peran Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Pembentukan Identitas Remaja Muslim Di Pondok Pesantren Ar Royyan Al-Islamy Bekasi

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kontribusi Pendidikan Agama Islam (Islamic Religious Education) terhadap konstruksi identitas santri remaja Muslim di Pondok Pesantren Ar Royyan Al-Islamy, Bekasi, dengan fokus pada dimensi spiritual, moral, dan sosial. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis case study tunggal, data dikumpulkan dari 20 santri berusia 13–18 tahun melalui in-depth interview, participant observation, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan thematic analysis berbantuan NVivo 12. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa internalisasi ajaran Islam melalui mekanisme pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan penguatan komunitas secara konsisten membentuk identitas santri yang kokoh dan adaptif di tengah tekanan globalisasi. Kendati demikian, keterbatasan literasi digital dalam kurikulum pesantren dan dominasi metode pembelajaran teacher-centered teridentifikasi sebagai hambatan utama yang mengurangi efektivitas proses tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan urgensi pembaruan kurikulum pesantren yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan kompetensi literasi digital secara seimbang dan berkelanjutan
