Abstract

TPenelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan soft power digital antara negara-negara Global Selatan dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan media sosial, budaya populer, dan diplomasi publik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif komparatif, data dikumpulkan dari analisis konten digital, studi literatur, dan wawancara mendalam dengan pakar serta praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia menonjol pada pemanfaatan media sosial, India unggul melalui budaya populer Bollywood, sementara Brasil dan Meksiko memperlihatkan keseimbangan antara media sosial dan budaya pop, serta Nigeria yang menghadapi tantangan infrastruktur namun memiliki potensi besar melalui musik Afrobeat. Analisis ini mengungkap bahwa keberhasilan soft power digital ditentukan oleh kombinasi faktor struktural, partisipasi masyarakat sipil, serta konsistensi narasi budaya jangka panjang. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori soft power di era digital dengan menempatkan negara-negara Global Selatan sebagai aktor aktif dalam membangun citra internasional, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk merumuskan strategi diplomasi digital yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
